CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin pairs two growth hormone secretagogues acting on separate receptors: CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1-29) at the GHRH receptor and Ipamorelin at the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). Research has examined how the pairing amplifies pulsatile GH release. Without DAC, CJC-1295 produces a short, sharp pulse that more closely resembles physiological release. Outcome trials are lacking, and neither compound is approved.
